South West Trains Rail Replacement 08/11/2015

Good Evening all, Liam here again, with a special post documenting the rail replacement bus operations around the Guildford and Haslemere area today! (08/11/2015). Enjoy!

South West Trains carried out planned engineering work on the Portsmouth Direct Line, Guildford to Aldershot line and the North Downs Line, meaning rail replacement buses had to be booked. In this post, I will document the duties and workings of individual buses etc.

On the 451 & 452 Duties, hourly rail replacement bus services from Aldershot to Guildford stopping at Ash, Wanborough and Guildford stations only, worked 2 Stagecoach South Enviro 200 (Kite branded). These vehicles were 37266 (SL64 HXA, see below) and 37265 (SL64 HWZ).

New Stagecoach Hants & Surrey Tridents

Good afternoon all, Liam here, my local Stagecoach Depots, Aldershot & Peasmarsh (Guildford) depots have both received a batch of ALX400 Dennis Tridents to replace the ageing Volvo Olympians currently in place at the depot. This post will give you all the knowledge you need about these Tridents and which routes they will be working on, enjoy!

As stated earlier, these Tridents were delivered to Aldershot & Guildford depots from Gloucester depot, in order to replace the existing Volvo Olympians.

Enviro 200 MMCs for Winchester

Good Evening all, Liam here, for a post on the publicly released NEW Stagecoach Enviro 200 MMCs for Winchester.

You may remember my post back in April, when the order for such vehicles emerged. These vehicles were delivered earlier in October, and were released to the public in a press shoot last Tuesday in Winchester City Centre.

Compass Travel Update

As part of Compass Travel's rivalry with the top-dog operators Stagecoach and Arriva, the company has expanded it's route and bus capacity.

Recently, they acquired a new batch of Enviro 200s. It is not yet known how many, but the updated fleet list is:

SK15 HBC
SK15 HBD
SK15 HBE
